Tutoring & Homework Assistance

We offer tutoring sessions twice a week to help the boys retain information, apply and practice what they learned and improve their performance in the classroom.

Tutoring sessions are conducted at Leaders of the New School's Center. Each student is required to submit report cards quarterly to measure growth and program effectiveness.

Our goal is to help every mentee that we encounter achieve academically and maximize their potential.

Leaders of the New School mentors and volunteers serve as a professional role models during the school year by listening and encouraging each student. The overall purpose of the mentor relationship is to show the students the real-world applicability of academics. We aim to draw connections between what’s being taught in the classroom and what our students will do in future.
